Volume 4-|Issue 4| Mar 2020 |Research Papers

Abstract

This study discusses civil and military uses of "Cyber" in Israel and Israeli proposals on how to protect it now and in the future. Its reading is based on numerous Israeli documents as well as three memoranda issued by Ben Gurion University's National Security Studies Institute. It discusses cyberwarfare and its effect on Israel and the necessity of developing an Israeli strategy in the cyber sphere as well as legal provisions to protect and regulate it. It also considers the reality of Israeli drone warfare, one of the most important achievements of Israeli precision engineering, assessing the possibility that it may become in coming decades not only Israel's most commonly used aerial weapon but the backbone of its air force.
