His field of economic research is focused on evolutionary economics with an emphasis on the economics of knowledge. He is also involved in philosophical issues related to the Theories of Justice and Democracy. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Strasbourg, 2003.

He holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal. He previously served as Professor of Diplomacy, Security, and Defense Studies at Qatar University (2013–2020). He has also taught International Relations at Laval University and the University of Ottawa in Canada, served as a resident researcher at the NATO Defense College in Rome and the Quebec Institute for International Studies, and as a visiting researcher at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia and the Korea Institute for Defense Analyses in Seoul. His research interests include NATO, defense policy, military strategy, armament and disarmament, and civil-military relations. He has authored several books, including three on NATO and one on the Gulf Unified Military Command, along with numerous peer-reviewed academic articles. Among his most recent publications, co-authored with Rashed Mohammed Abdullah Al-Nuaimi: "Militarization: A Foundational Theoretical Approach" (Lubab Journal, 2022).

​Professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Law, Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakech, Morocco. He holds a State Doctorate in Economic Sciences from the same university (2005). He currently serves as Vice President of the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), Head of the Economic Sciences Division, and Expert Member of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research in Rabat. His research interests include institutional economics, migration and human rights, demography and development, and governance challenges in the Arab world and Africa. Among his most recent publications: "The Future of Women's Participation in the Arab Labor Market" (Istishraf Journal, 2022); "The Dialectic of Causal Relationship between Political Freedom and Economic Freedom: The Arab World as a Model" (Arab Politics Journal, 2021); and, co-authored with Al-Hussein Shukrani, Migration and Human Rights: The Cost of Economics and the Stakes of Security Policies and Border Fencing (Centre for Arab Unity Studies, 2021).​

​Professor of Political Science at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He holds a Research Management Certificate (Habilitation) in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris, and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Paris X. He previously taught at the University of Paris VIII, lectured at Sciences Po's Menton campus, and served as Associate Professor at the Joaan bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies in Qatar and at Batna University in Algeria, as well as a Research Fellow at the NATO Defense College in Rome. His research interests focus on security studies in international relations, and regional security in the Mediterranean and the Maghreb-Sahel space. Among his most recent books: European Migration Policies and the Maghreb Neighborhood: Delegation and Securitization (2025); Security and Inward Migration: Reflections on Critical Security Studies and the Copenhagen School (2024).

​Professor of Futures Studies at Sudan University of Science and Technology, Director of the Center for Futures Studies, and Secretary-General of the Arab Association for Futures Studies. He holds a PhD in Prospective Futures Studies from Sudan University of Science and Technology. He has authored numerous studies, including: "The Concept of Social Development: A Futures Vision" (2016); "The Nature of Futures Studies" (2014); "Prospective Futures Studies: The Science of the Future" (2013); and "The Sudanese Church: Supporting National Unity and Strengthening Political Stability" (2007).

​Professor of Cybersecurity and Network Engineering, and Head of the Information Technology Department at Qatar Community College. He holds a PhD from the School of Government and Business Administration at George Washington University, USA. He is considered one of the leading figures in Gulf cybersecurity. His interests focus on developing information technology and digital security programs, and building national capacity to protect critical infrastructure. Among his most recent publications: What You Need to Know About Cybersecurity (Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press, 2022).

​​An Omani researcher holding a PhD in Political Economy from King's College London. He has served as a consultant to the International Monetary Fund on foreign direct investment statistics. He has published numerous research studies and book chapters, most recently a chapter titled "The Challenges of Future Vision: Oman and Its Prospects, an Analytical Reading" (2019), in a co-authored volume on economic diversification in the Arab Gulf states published by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies. He has also co-edited two books, one of which focuses on economic diversification in the Arab Gulf states.
